Phil is an experienced vocal coach, singing teacher and musical director with many years experience working with children and adults of all ages.
He is available for Vocal, Piano and Bass lessons in Manchester.
He specialises in musical theatre and pop music styles, with a particular interest in stage performance and vocal function (the science of how voices work).
This has been developed through significant training with Jeremy and Gillyanne at Vocal Process.
He is also a firm believer that everyone can sing (or be taught to) and has a proven track record of this through student and choir performances and awards.

A graduate of London's prestigious Royal Academy of Music, Phil has extensive experience performing in dozens of West End and major touring theatre productions, as well as many professional orchestras.
He has also played double bass and bass guitar in a variety of jazz, pop and function bands including a number of recordings.
Phil is also an experienced (and highly qualified) choir director and classroom/peripatetic teacher.
He was a Rock Choir leader for several
years and has run school and community choirs.
He has taught all ages from nursery to degree level in an exceptionally wide range of genres and styles.
Phil founded Rochdale School of Rock and Pop in 2012 to provide the North Manchester area with top class tuition in popular music. Lessons are available in voice/singing, piano/keyboard, guitar and drums.
Fully equipped rooms are also available for hire for bands to rehearse.
Phil is available for function bands, gigs, theatre work, sessions, jazz and orchestral work on double bass and bass guitar (using top quality professional instruments and amplification).
